With MedsYourWay, you’ll have up to 80 percent savings on brand and generic drugs and it’s seamlessly built into the Amazon Pharmacy experience.
Some drugs may be available at lower prices with a discount card. MedsYourWay discount card pricing is built right into the Amazon Pharmacy experience — no card required. At checkout, if there is a drug discount card available, you’ll see the discount card price vs. insurance price. Select the lowest price and checkout.
MedsYourWay discount card pricing is not insurance. However, all prescribed and covered purchases automatically count toward your annual out-of-pocket maximum — whether you’re paying a copay or using the discount card pricing.

Tips for ordering drugs by mail
For your forms
- Fill out the forms completely. Clearly state if anything should be shipped to someone other than you.
- Provide a phone number where you can be reached during the day. This is very important if your medicine is temperature-sensitive. Amazon Pharmacy will call you to arrange delivery.
For your prescriptions
- Ask your doctor to:
- Write 'maximum amount allowed by benefit' on your prescription
- Prescribe your drug by its generic name. (This is required.)
- Include the doctor's name and DEA number
- Controlled substances: You must send the original prescription signed by your doctor. No faxed prescriptions or prescriptions signed by a physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner will be accepted for controlled substances. Submit the prescription as close to the date written as possible. Some controlled substance prescriptions cannot be filled beyond seven days of the date they are written.
- Amazon Pharmacy does not fill schedule II controlled substances.
- Compound medications: This service is not available for compound medications.
