What is a Medicare Advantage plan?

Medicare Advantage plans, also known as Medicare Part C, include both medical (Part A and Part B) and most include prescription drug coverage (Part D). Plus, they include extra benefits that often aren’t available with other types of Medicare plans. A member can enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan if they:

  • Have Medicare Part A and Part B
  • Live in the plan availability area
