Blue Distinction® is a designation awarded by Blue Cross and Blue Shield to medical facilities that deliver quality health care for the following specialty care categories: Bariatric (Weight loss) Surgery, Cancer, Cardiac, Cellular Immunotherapy, Fertility Care, Gene Therapy, Knee and Hip Replacement, Maternity, Spine Surgery, Substance Use Treatment and Recovery, and Transplants.
