The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota mobile app gives you and your employees convenient, on-the-go access to important plan information, including:
- Deductible and out-of-pocket spending totals
- A digital member ID card that you can share easily with health care providers
- Search capabilities for in-network doctors and care nearby
- Medical spending account balances
- Claim status tracking
The app is available for iOS and Android phones.
Personalized messaging
In addition, members can now choose to receive important information through automated text-messaging.
Upon confirming receipt of their member ID card, they'll be invited to opt-in to the service which gives them quick access to plan resources, like their digital ID-card or one-tap access to customer service, They'll also be notified of member-exclusive offers and reminders for preventive screenings and annual visits.
