Patrick Milan
Chief Insights Officer, Tunheim
Patrick (Pat) Milan serves as chief insights officer at Tunheim, a Twin Cities-based communications firm. In his role, Milan leads the organization’s management consulting practice and has led crisis response teams for health care, technology, government and retail sectors. Milan also serves as the chair of business development for Tunheim’s global network of 110 offices.
Prior to joining Tunheim, Milan held several marketing and consulting positions, including managing partner at Fallon Worldwide, a full-service advertising agency based in Minneapolis. At Fallon, he co-led the development of the agency’s retail marketing practice, supporting a range of clients that included Starbucks, BMW, United Airlines, Lee Jeans and Nordstrom. Milan spent the first 15 years of his career as a television news reporter, working at stations in Savannah, Ga., Orlando, Fla., and the Minneapolis/St. Paul market. Following his career in journalism, he served three years as director of communications and a senior aide to former Minnesota Attorney General Hubert H. Humphrey, III.
Milan studied journalism at the University of South Carolina. He serves on the board of directors for Artistry, a nonprofit theater production company based at the Bloomington Center of the Arts. He previously served as a board member for Southdale YMCA, Minnesota’s largest YMCA organization.
