Michael S. Jones

Michael S. Jones most recently served as senior executive vice president for Huntington National Bank, where he was responsible for all middle-market business in Minnesota and Colorado. Jones previously served as president and chief operating officer of TCF National Bank until its merger with Huntington in 2021.

Before joining TCF in 2008, Jones led the finance function for PACCAR Financial Services. He also held several leadership positions for GE Capital and has extensive experience in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate finance. 

Jones holds a bachelor's degree from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky; a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University; and is a certified public accountant. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Greater MSP, Minnesota Business Partnership, and several civic organizations.
