Learn to Live program for Minnesota Health Care Program members

Learn to Live is a free online mental health program for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and Blue Plus (Blue Plus) members living with stress, depression, substance use, insomnia, and/or social anxiety.

Many people do not get help for mental health because access to treatment is limited and expensive. The Learn to Live program is available to all Blue Advantage℠ Families and Children, MinnesotaCare, Minnesota Senior Care Plus (MSC+) and SecureBlue℠ (HMO SNP) plan members.* Participants must be age 13 or older.

How Learn to Live works

Learn to Live is a confidential online Cognitive Behavioral Therapy program. This form of therapy focuses on problem solving and changing behaviors. You can take online programs for the following concerns:

  • Depression
  • Social anxiety
  • Substance use
  • Stress, anxiety and worry
  • Insomnia
  • Panic
  • Resilience

The self-paced programs help you identify the problem(s), understand how your mind works, then learn and practice ways to deal with the problem(s).

  4. Pick from the list of customized programs based on your assessment results

*Not all plans offer Learn to Live. Some members may not have access to this program. Please contact customer service at the phone number on the back of your Blue Cross ID card to verify your coverage. If you’d like help with your stress, call customer service to find a health care professional.

As part of a strategic commitment to build a broad portfolio of health solutions, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota made a financial investment in Learn to Live in 2016.

Learn to Live, Inc. is an independent company providing online cognitive behavioral therapy programs and services.

SecureBlueSM (HMO SNP) is a health plan that contracts with both Medicare and the Minnesota Medical Assistance (Medicaid) program to provide benefits of both programs to enrollees. Enrollment in SecureBlue depends on contract renewal.
