Special enrollment for individual and family plans

Open enrollment has ended, but you may be eligible for a special enrollment if you have a qualifying life event.

Life events for special enrollment

Common life events that may qualify for special enrollment include job loss, early retirement, loss of dependent status, marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child or a move. You'll need to enroll within the required time frame — usually within 60 days of the life event.

Individual and family health plans for Minnesotans offered through Blue Plus are based on where you live. Each plan has a network of covered healthcare providers in your area.
