Have a question? We can help.

What is a Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plan?

A Medicare Supplement plan, or Medigap policy, supplements your Original Medicare benefits. These plans provide medical-only coverage, and benefits are guaranteed renewable as long as you pay your premium. This means as long as you continue to pay your premium, you won’t lose your coverage – even if you have health issues later on.

You can build a Medicare Supplement plan to meet your needs. Go with the base option and save on monthly premiums. Or, choose additional coverage options and limit your out-of-pocket expenses. This may be a good option if you want to pay a higher monthly premium in exchange for lower payments when you visit the doctor.

If you live in Minnesota and you have Medicare Part A and Part B, you can enroll in:

  • Basic Medicare Blue
  • Medicare Supplement Plan with Copayments (Plan N)
  • Medicare Supplement Plan with High Deductible Coverage (High Deductible Plan)
  • Senior GoldSM
