Supplement (Medigap) plans

A Medicare Supplement plan is a medical-only plan (Part A and Part B), and benefits are guaranteed renewable as long as you pay your premium.

A Medicare Supplement plan can help pay for costs not covered by Original Medicare, like copays, deductibles and coinsurance.

Medicare Supplement plans are available in all Minnesota counties.

Medicare Cost plans

Medicare cost plans offer medical-only coverage (Part A and Part B) or combined medical and prescription drug coverage (Part D).

If you choose to include prescription drug coverage, your plan also helps pay the cost of your medications.

Medicare Cost plans provide additional coverage to help pay for expenses Original Medicare doesn’t cover.

Prescription Drug (Part D) plans

These stand-alone prescription drug plans help you manage your prescription drug costs.

These plans can be paired with Original Medicare (Parts A and B), a Medicare supplement plan, or a medical-only cost plan.

Minnesota Senior Health Options

This health plan, called SecureBlue℠ (HMO SNP), is a Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO) health plan that combines your Medicare and Medical Assistance (Medicaid) into one plan.

You must be 65 or older, have both Medicare Part A and Part B, and have Medical Assistance to qualify for SecureBlue.

SecureBlue is available in all Minnesota counties.
