SecureBlue is available in all 87 Minnesota counties
SecureBlue is a Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO) plan that combines your Medicare and Medical Assistance into one plan. You must be 65 or older and have both Medicare Part A and Part B to qualify for SecureBlue. Medicare and Medical Assistance are programs that help you pay for healthcare.
There is no monthly premium for this plan. However, you may pay a copay (a dollar amount) when you get a prescription.
SecureBlue also helps you pay for:
- Basic medical care — doctor visits, medicine, hospital stays and more
- Treatment for mental health issues and substance use
- Preventive care, such as flu shots
- Emergency care
You can refer to the SecureBlue Member Handbook to see coverage and plan details.
